On behalf of the Saiva Maha Sabai of WA (Inc.) [SMS], I am delighted to announce that Hon Dr Tony Buti MLA, Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Interests, has approved a grant of $230,201 for SMS Multipurpose Community Hall [Canteen] Upgrades at 12 Mandogalup Road, Mandogalup WA 6167 through the CaLD Community Capital Works Fund, administered by the Office of Multicultural Interests.

 

The capital works grant will be used to enhance the infrastructure of the SMS Multipurpose Community Hall [Canteen] to support the component of works associated with the canteen, gate access, air conditioner, electrical lighting and kitchen equipment (excluding the non-fixed equipment). This will further greatly improve the capability of the canteen facilities for the benefit of the community.

 

It is planned that the announcement of the grant will be made at 10:00am sharp at the premises by local member of parliament Hon Roger CooK MLA, Premier of Western Australia and Minister Buti just before the Chariot Festival at 12 Mandogalup Road, Mandogalup, WA 6167, on Saturday 27 April 2024.

 

Vegetarian lunch will be served after the Chariot Festival at the SMS Multipurpose Community Hall [Canteen].
